The Scottish Terrier has a rough and compact coat which is typically all-black in color, although it may also be brindle or wheaten. Newfoundland

The Dobie was created by nineteenth-century German tax collector Louis Dobermann who needed a four-legged bodyguard to keep him safe when making his rounds. The most common coat color for the Doberman is black with rust markings also called black and tan.

Belgian Sheepdog

In its home country of Belgium, The Belgian Sheepdog is also sometimes called the Groenendale or the Chien de Berge Belge.  And it’s one of the long haired black dog breeds. Its long sleek coat is solid black in color and helps to differentiate it from the handful of other sheepdog breeds that originated in Belgium.

The Belgian Sheepdog is an intelligent and obedient dog that is also brave. It was created to herd and guard livestock but it also makes an excellent protector of the home and family.

Cane Corso

The Cane Corso is also sometimes called the Italian Mastiff and it is a close relative of the Neapolitan Mastiff.
